Southwest Christmas Tree Albuquerque Indian Pueblo Cultural Center While enjoying lunch with friends at the Albuquerque Indian Pueblo Harvest Cafe inside the Cultural Center we spotted the southwest decor of this Christmas Tree. I hope you can make out the (real) miniature Indian Corn and pine-cones used as ornaments on the tree. Very unique and fitting for the location and ambiance. Photo taken with my phone.

Our Southwest Christmas Tree Wordless Wednesday Our Southwest Christmas Tree is now up. During our many hiking and camping adventures we gathered lots of pine-cones, in September we purchased, cleaned and hung the red chili's to dry. We also made a star for the top of the tree from a grapevine. Additionally we added store bought berries and approxmimately 1,000 lights to our Southwest Christmas Tree. Old Southwest Churches are one of our favorite things to photograph. My wife and I often discuss what tales the old Church’s would tell if they could speak. We find old southwestern Church’s have so much character, personality and in a way quiet wisdom. If we’re lucky enough to find one that’s unlocked the silence found on the inside normally brings an eerie calmness.
