I visit the Seattle Aquarium on a regular basis. Today I did my best to capture the Spunky Puffin. A diving bird with a propensity to swim fast and dive hard! These low flying seabirds are fun to watch and have a playful nature with each other.

It won't be hard to find local artist Ginny Ruffner's Flower Pot as you stroll the area of 7th Avenue and Union. The twenty seven foot work of art has computer controlled moving parts, including the red watering can that pours water into the pot, a spinning daisy and bluebells that open and close.

Seattle Art Galleries are abundant. We have a thriving art community that could easily create a career move for me, just keeping up with the latest exhibits about town. Gallery Mack is easy to spot with the artistic Whirly gig spinning in the breeze above this Western and Lenora location. Once inside, there is an eclectic meld of artistic offerings, from Chairs of wood, to bronze statues, oil on canvas, glass and metal. Seattle's Pike Place Market, is always an adventure on the weekends. The hustle and bustle, with fish flying, ice frantically being shoveled, produce trucks delivering seasonal bounty, and floral arrangements being bundled together with artistic flair.
Today, I have noticed a trio of street performers not singing, playing instruments or even juggling. Rather, contributing to the carnival vibe of Pike Place Market by becoming living art. Statue people, if you will, devoted to enhancing our overall experience with their very presence among us.
