Every Month I get a handy reminder in the mail about local blood drives.  I give as often as I can.  After all, there is no artificial substitute for human blood. I thought it would be a good idea to list them here.  If you can make one your donation would be greatly appreciated.

I had the pleasure of conducting a New Construction Home Inspection this morning in Cedar Park, Texas.  While up on the roof I found 2 nails that were exposed.  Incredibly that number - 2 - is on the low side.  On most Home Inspections I conduct there are many more!

Family Traditions - The Sunday Picture
Shortly after getting married in April of 2002 I felt compelled to establish some family traditions.  Traditions can come in many shapes and sizes and for sure this one is small potatoes as far as traditions go.  Here's what I came up with - The Sunday Picture.

I thought it would be kinda neat to be able to look back in time and see where we started and compare that to where we ended up.  So, every Sunday our family takes a few moments to sit down and snap a quick picture.

Termite Inspections in Texas are a very important part of the discovery process when buying a home.  Many buyers often assume that a home inspection will address the issue of termites and other wood destroying insects but that is simply not the case.
In Texas, a separate license issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture is required to perform a Termite or Wood Destroying Insect Inspection.  We are required to use a state mandated form called the Texas Wood Destroying Insect Report.
