Zillow Partners With Tom Ferry on Product Development Today we announced in a press release, our new partnership with the very well known real estate coach, (and a personal friend of mine) Tom Ferry, who will be joining us as a consultant. Zillow develops numerous products that help real estate professionals grow their business and online presence, and Tom will be consulting on product development.  I'm very excited to have Tom on board.

Celebrating 5 Years on ActiveRain - 02/20/12 07:47 PM
Looking back over the past 5 years, I am amazed at how much time I spent making puddles and splashing here on ActiveRain.  I have seen so many changes, watched hundreds of people come and go, and even had the pleasure and opportunity to work here as the community manager for three and a half years. 
Oh, some of the stories I could tell...  haha~

Pinterest - A Social Cataloging Community - 02/12/12 04:50 PM
Pinterest is basically a social catalog.  It's a community to share collections of things you love.  It's similar to a "like" on Facebook, or a "+1" on Google Plus. It's even like "Digg" "Delicious" "StumbleUpon" and "ReTweeting" but the difference at Pinterest is that it's all about "Pin" or pinning content. 

According to TechCrunch, Pinterest hit 10 million US monthly uniques faster than any standalone site ever.  AGBeat says that Pinterest now drives as much traffic as Twitter  Since Pinterest accounts are by invitation only, how do you get invited?

Free Online Photo Editing - Picnik's Twin Brother - 02/06/12 10:57 AM
In a frantic scramble last week to find a replacement for the Picnik.com closure on April 19th, I had written a post featuring 7 different FREE photo and graphic editing sites. 
However, some many of my online friends were hoping to actually find a replacement editor that was similar or at least closer to the same look and feel of Picnik’s site.  Is there such a site?
Well here it is!  iPiccy.com is the closest you’re going to find to Picnik.com.  The look and feel are more similar than any other site I’ve seen.  iPiccy might actually be Picnik’s twin brother.  … (54 comments)
