Blog Dashboard - default settings changed - 03/27/07 12:47 PM
In an effort to increase the breadth of posts that are read by our members we've made a slight change to the Blog Dashboard today. "Featured Posts" will continue to show on the index page, "ActiveRain.com", or can be accessed by clicking on "Featured" just under the "Blog Posts" Header on the blog dashbaord. … (40 comments)

Dings! Results - 03/26/07 06:20 PM
I love reading about unique aspects of the cities and towns that you all live and work in.  These types of posts will help you as you focus locally and try to drill down to become a local market expert.  I don't care if you are nationally based, it's always better to have a target, and geography is an easy one.
It might take some time but the more you all write about these things the better you will see your blog doing.
Focusing on a particular place, or structure makes for easier writing. The subjects have a story ready to … (27 comments)

Big traffic increases for ActiveRain and Localism - 03/22/07 04:54 PM
Back on January, 30th I made a post about both ActiveRain.com and Localism.com achieving some traffic milestones.
ActiveRain and Localism each hit milestones yesterday
I like to share these milestones as ActiveRain makes it march towards, uh, world domination.  I love numbers so their fun to occassionally take a look at, and it also effects how much online exposure members are getting.

Mar. 19, 2007: 24,289 unique visitors (135% increase in traffic)
Localism.com
