What is a HUD Owned home?  FHA the Federal Housing Administration, is a part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), it provides federal mortgage insurance which ensures that mortgage lenders will be reimbursed in the event  homebuyers default on there mortgage.
When a Lender foreclose on an FHA insured home, from the previous owner not paying the mortgage payments for one reason or another, the lender will file a claim with FHA for the balance due on the mortgage and convey title of the property to HUD.  Leaving the property to be sold on an auction type website through … (2 comments)

Here is your monthly real estate report for the month of March for Cherokee county.  Cherokee is a pretty small county which we love so much.  Properties average days on the market is 92 days. Here is the monthly Activity report for the month of March 2008 in Cobb county Georgia.  As you can see there were 418 properties sold and 634 pending sales.  The average days on the market was 82 days.  Leaving 752 properties remains to be sold, how many of those homes do you believe were priced to sell!  That is something you have to think about, we see homes over priced everyday on the market all it does it clutter it up.  You want your property to sell be ready to price it to sell!
