It seems like many peopel are never happy.  In real estate that especailly seems to hold true.  First I hear complaints about prices dropping.  Now a few years later prices are rising and invetory has fallen.  So, the complaint now is it is hard to find a home.  Inventory levels are low, but there are still many choices out there.  It's just that there is also a lot of competition for that inventory. 
The big drop in inventory really occured over 2010-2011.  We have seen continued strengthening in the market, but the sale price appreciation didn't really kick in until inventory … (0 comments)

phoenix: Why should I have my new home inspected? - 01/08/13 10:36 AM
As an Realtor, I always recomend a home inspection.  I recently had a client purchase a new construction spec home and they asked whether they should have a home inspection done.  I let them know that it isn't as common on new homes as it is on re-sale, but that I recommend it on all homes.  During new construction, I think it is worth it and at a minimum it allows an extra set of eyes beyond the construction superintendant and the city/county inspector.  It is always good to get a look "inside the walls" before the drywall goes up.
