Condo “For Sale” Signs are hung on what we in BC call "Trees". While hanging real estate signs on fences or patio posts is unacceptable in most instances, there are many strata corporations in British Columbia who are not allowing “for sale” signs to be hung on the real estate sign tree in front of buildings.
This action is mainly in response to the abuse by a few irresponsible REALTORS®, who do not take down their signs on time, hang them when they don’t have a listing, don’t secure them properly, use oversize signs, etc. While I … (3 comments)

"The only sign that counts" is a tagline I've used in the past when doing a postcard mailing.
In my opinion the 'SOLD' sticker message is especially meaningful when on a real estate sign tree with other signs which advertise 'FOR SALE'. So why is it that occasionally I will hear that someone chose a Realtor because "their 'FOR SALE' sign is all over the place so they must be good"? The reason I ask this is because I believe from my own observations the past few years that most of the Realtors whose 'FOR SALE' signs are all over the place also have a … (9 comments)
