Housing Market Report for Baltimore, Northern and Southern Suburbs, 2009 - 12/14/09 06:17 PM
The Baltimore market showed continued signs of renewal in the 3rd quarter of 2009 after an optimistic 2nd quarter. Prices showed decent growth from the previous quarter, and homes spent less time on market than in the 2nd quarter. However, the Baltimore market is still weaker than a year ago; Baltimore's housing market may be in the very early phases of a recovery.

Baltimore Walking Club sponsors Ma and Pa Trail Walking Event in Bel Air Maryland, 21014 - 12/07/09 07:02 PM
Walk through the town of Bel Air Maryland on sidewalks and along the Ma and Pa trail, a converted railroad bed that is now a paved walking trail. This walk has been updated and revised so it now offers a number of different lengths. Pets must be leashed at all times with clean up. This is a wonderful Harford county event with scenic views of homes and recreation areas along the trail. Strollers, Wheelchairs and Pets are allowed. There are also restrooms available.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office Annual Christmas Drive is underway. Chaired for the fourth year by Captain Steve Thomas and Lauren Brooks, the agency has been committed to helping families during the holiday season for over a quarter of a century. The program has grown significantly in the last 27 years with the help of dozens of volunteers from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. With all the help from the community, 2008 was a record year, helping 198 families that included 266 adults and 421 children. Christmas gifts and food were delivered to various communities throughout the county.
