BEWARE of Outrageous Fire Hazard !! - 11/29/10 11:40 PM
I was astonished to read recently about a Tennessee couple, Gene & Paulette Cranick, who live in Obion County, which decided sometime ago to assess an annual fire protection fee of $75. Long story short, the Cranicks had forgotten to pay this year and so on September 29, 2010 their home was destroyed by fire along with 3 dogs & a cat trapped inside. Firefighters were on the scene purely to protect a neighbor’s property who had paid his fee. It seems to me to be “criminal” that these firefighters simply stood idly by with a firetruck  and allowed this family … (4 comments)

This story is fascinating & sad at the same time as if this family had used a good sensible & experienced realtor like myself or any member of our activerain group, then I do believe their outcome would have been radically different. What does anyone else think when you read this story at:
