Finally, the weather outside was NOT frightful tonite and I could get a few terrific pictures. Take time to stop by and see the lights...it is terrific. I have video clips, too, but don't know how to load...if anyone cares to let me know how...I will upload them , too.

For those of you that may not be familiar with the area --- or even if you are a long time Bergen County resident--- you may not realize we have one of the nicest display of lights during theholiday season on Victoria Lane. The lights go on from December 14 and run through January 1, 2008. If you get a chance drive by...and take a look. The lights, sounds and merriment really ring in the holiday cheer. It is that time of year and we should all take time out from our busy schedules to support our area and our friends and families in need. My next couple of posts will include opportunities to participate and  help others that either may be less fortunate or may be far away from home. Please join in if you can...or if you are in another area...check out local opportunities in your town or community. The local volunteer center, library or schools are a great place to start...And, remember... " you get what you give."

There has been a lot of talk these days about buying and selling area homes AND about the, dare I say sub-prime issue. But, not much has been said about the business of area RENTALS and the rental market.
Renting in today's market, at least in my local area, offers an opportunity to experience luxury, offers flexibility and convenience. The number of properties on the market may be higher than usual so landlords may be interested in shorter term leases, may offer discounts for longer lease options, may even bend the rules for pets and, in general, may be more flexible … (3 comments)
