Well I checked on Texas Real Estate Commission website and I am now officially sponsored by New Home Guy Realty. I am totally excited. After months of trying to generate new business standing on the corner with the sign, Placing Ads all over and working long hours...I came to the revelation that I still am not making enough headway to justify paying fees etc...I recently looked into a company that does Apartment Locating on top of that you can still be a buyers and listing Agent. This term is not for just your local store anymore. With newspapers closing down across the globe I ponder the question: Do you prefer to read the paper or would you read it online or with an electronic viewing device (plastic)? I personally think paper is a dying medium Even my parents who aren't from the computer age find themselves getting news online. Since checking email has become a normal routine for people the next obvious thing is to read news stories while you are checking the mail. I had probably the best morning ever at the corner holding my sign. Not for what happened to me but what happened to Bob. As you know someone had recently stolen Bob the Newspaper guy's Bike that he had worked so hard to buy on layaway. Bob worked hard and was able to scrape up enough money to buy another bike. This bike was not as good as the other bike but Bob being the happy guy he is told me this morning it was a great day and everyday seemed to get better and better. I tell you this has been the best week ever. I have been working with renters. Two have worked out and one unfortunately rented from a friend. I have a very nice listing coming up and everyone I have been dealing with has been fantastic. I didn't want to say anything yesterday because I did not know if it would really happen. This very morning KSAT 12 news in San Antonio came to my little corner at US HWY 281 and Bitters. It was alot of fun and they were super nice. I was nervous and I can't for the life of me remember what I said. A lot of video was shot so we shall see. I wanted to ask if this sign makes me look fat...lol but it probably the food I eat.

Well I am still standing on my little corner in San Antonio,Tx. I still get calls from people and website traffic. So far I have only been fortunate to convert TWO of the prospects to listings. I am not discouraged though because many times I have handed out my card to people this week and they look at it then look at me and say "hey I know you, Your the guy who stands on the corner".
