There sure have been many changes in the real estate industry over the past year or two.  One thing that has remained constant , however, is the overall process that every buyer goes through when deciding to build a new home.  On the surface, the process is very simple.  In fact, I will share it with you you right now:

1.  Select your Location - city, village, or town

2.  Select your Community/Development

3.  Pick a Builder

4.  Choose your Homesite / Lot

5.  Choose your Floorplan

6.  Secure your Financing

There are many details to take into account in each of these specific areas.  Over the next month or so, I will share with you some of my thoughts, experiences and insights in each one of these areas.  New construction has been a large percentage of my real estate business over the past decade and still continues to be today.  If you are considering building a home in the near future, I hope this series of blog entries will help you through the process of building a new home and give you some good information to consider as you embark on your new home building journey.
