If you live in Carmel or Fishers - you might qualify to get PAID for recycling!
It is a partnership between cities and Republic Services.  They measure the amount of waste residents recycle and then issue reward points.  The points can be redeemed online for things like groceries, gift cards, movie tickets or iPods.
 
It is an effort to motivate people to be aware and do more recycling.  Similar programs in other cities have earned residents as much as $200 in reward values.
