Jim Welch is the Public Relations Officer of Bel Air. As the Public Relations Officer, he is the liaison between the town and the county, state, town businesses and residents. One of his well known accomplishments is the management of Bel Air's Street Scape project. As liaison, Mr. Welch was able to help obtain a grant of 7 million dollars from the state towards the construction of Main Street which is changing the face of the heart of Bel Air.
