Spring is here...

Listening to the peaceful, yet noisy sounds of the sand hill cranes retuning to the area reminds me that spring is here. We've had 70 degree temperatures and the snow is finally gone. White Pine Real Estate will be traveling to Milwaukee towards the end of April to visit the Lake Home and Cabin Show (www.lakehomeandcabinshow.com). We will be featuring all of our waterfront properties at the show.

The market has started to make an upwards turn in the area - there are plenty of properties available. As far as being a buyer's market, as the national media implies, it is, but in a recreational market there are a lot of sellers that don't need to sell. I see the best values coming on lakefront property, as prices are stabling. I'm really looking forward to a great spring.
