Lines at the local gas pumps all the way to the street this evening due to reports of a gas shortage in the Southeastern US. Apparently it started sometime earlier today with some TN gas stations running out of gas. While coming home tonight it was very apparent that the panic had reached Aiken, SC. Every gas station filled with customers waiting to fill their tank. Some stations rationing the gas and only allowing customers to purchase 10 gallons/purchase. Plastic bags covering many pump heads and prices are soaring. I am hearing from friends as I type that some local stations … (3 comments)
