If you have dog(s) and/or cat(s) and they are due for their rabies shot(s) and money seems somewhat tight please mark your calendar for this event. This Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Lincoln County Animal Services is holding a Rabies Clinic, at Catawba Springs Elementary School bus parking lot. Rabies shots are $5.00 each.Dogs need to be on a leash and cats in crates.If you have a family member or friend that can’t afford the $5.00 but you can, how about gifting it to them?!?!?!?!?! Back in March I blogged about the 2nd Annual Ride for Sally's Y. The event was held this weekend and I am happy to report it was a HUGE success!! There were over 220 participants and 30+ volunteers at the event. The weather was perfect for such an event and the riders/walkers had a wonderful time, and I guess you're wondering how I know this....well I have the surveys in hand!Early on it was decided that the primary purpose for the event was to raise community awareness over monetary reasons.I am pleased … (0 comments)

Our local Grateful Growers Farm in Pumpkin Center (Denver~Maiden area) will be a part of this exciting epicurean evening event to remember.
