As most of you know we had a HUGE snow fall March 1st into March 2nd…..so now comes the fall-out. Schools were cancelled March 2nd & 3rd so now comes the make-up. Children in the Lincoln Country school district will be going to school on Saturday’s….yes you heard (17 comments)

Lincoln County (North Carolina) includes the towns of: Lincolnton, Iron Station, Boger City, Crouse, Vale, some of Maiden, Stanley, and Denver. This does not include Stanley and Denver that is on Lake Norman or in close proximity of Lake Norman (Lake Norman has it's own).

This year was the year that Lincoln County did property revaluations. Yes, most people have seen a HUGE increase and few have seen little or none. Due to the increase Lincoln County Commissioners have set the new tax rate at .57 per $100 valuation; which is four (1 comments)
