The City of Austin has released a wonderful web site that is instructional and informative on all things Austin, Texas.  One can check out everything from the new flood plain lines to bus routes.  The light rail feature in not on the site yet, but look for it soon.  I open the site on Firefox but it runs best on Internet Explorer 6.0+ and Netscape 7.1+. -  same with our MLXchange. Ejoy!

Austin, Texas - Jobs Predicted To Grow - Housing Gonna Stabilize - 03/08/10 05:22 PM
Texas' performance in the national economic arena has been head turning.  Three of our fine cities appeared in Forbes top 10 metro areas where jobs are predicted to grow and the housing crises stabilize. While no city or state was insulated from the recession, Texas fared better than most.  Austin, Texas ranked No. 2 on the list, just behind Washington, D. C.Y'all come on over!
