1. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. PRINT, 'PHOTO ID REQUIRED.'
2. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the 'For' line. Instead, just put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check processing channels won't have access to it.

In my earlier years, I thought I was above it all. I was too strong and too disciplined to give in. It was easy to, "JUST SAY NO". Now I find myself craving it.........the internet and all of the wondrous keys to the universe of knowledge and networking that it offers. Change comes slowly, painfully and in small increments.........except in the mortgage industry. In an attempt to regulate Wall Street, Investors, the BIG Banks and defer responsibility for the mortgage meltdown from Congress, lobbyists and the self serving power brokers, our esteemed elected officials are over regulating and adding more and more layers of guidleines and rules to keep realtors, mortgage professionals and appraisers on their best behavior.
