I often hear the question "Anthony, how's the housing market looking in Woodbrige VA?" Well here is a brief overview of the market as of today 8/28/2012. Oh and when I say Woodbridge VA I mean the 22191 zip code.
There are currently 133 active homes for sale in Woodbridge VA.. 215 of them are under contract, contingent with kickout or without kickout.
From 5/28/2012 - 8/28/2012 52 homes ranging from 139k to 558k were been sold.

In most cases I do a great job of finding a home for my home buyers in Woodbridge, but if they choose to search themselves I would rather have them search on www.anthonyjoneshomes.com. The reason is quite simply when they don't use my site they bring me back properties that were sold in 2008....currently under contract...foreclosed on etc........

Prices at one point being as high as 400k with all the attractions that surround the community. Want to Know What's Going On With The Woodbridge Virginia Housing Market?-
In Woodbridge (22191) there are currently 160 Homes are on the market 7 being Woodbridge Foreclosures, 34 Being Woodbridge Short Sales, and 119 Regular sales.
In the last month (1/18/2012-2/18/2012) we have had 45 that went undercontract or that were sold. Out of that 45, 17 were short sales, 3 were foreclosures, and 25 regular sales.
Inventory is still pretty low so when a home comes on the the market the chances of getting a offer faster are pretty good.

Home inventory in Woodbridge VA is low right now meaning you have a lot less competition. (I know, I have I have been out with buyers and scarce is an understatement). With there not being a lot of homes on the market sellers have a greater chance of selling their homes faster and benefiting from multiple offers.
