Here's a question for everyone. One of my friends just received a permission slip from the high school to allow his 9th grade daughter to attend a school field trip. The field trip is to visit a MOSQUE to learn history. The girls must wear long shirts, pants, cover all skin, wear a scarf, and wear a veil. Would you sign it and allow your child to go?

There are always lots of fun things to do at Lake Oconee. One of the good local websites to check out is www.visitlakeoconee.com for upcoming events in the 3 county area, which encompasses Greene, Morgan, and Putnam Counties.
We went to a movie friday at the fantastic Spotlight Theatres. Check out what is playing at http://www.spotlighttheatres.com/movies/now_showing.php?ThId=13 There are 8 theaters, food, bar upstairs, poker on weekends, and special balcony seating with really cushy chairs that rock. They also have UGA games available to watch on gameday.
