Layton Utah Infrared Home Inspector If you're in the Layton Utah area and in need of a home inspector than contact Utah Infrared Home and Building Inspections All Layton Utah Home Inspections include advanced thermal imaging technology as an added benefit without any additional costs. All home inspectors should be using Infrared technology while preforming home inspections but very few actually offer the technology. ALWAYS INSIST ON A HOME INSPECTOR THAT OFFERS THERMAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY! THE TRUE CONDITION OF A HOME OR BUILDING IS NOT SOMETHING TO TAKE CHANCES WITH.
Thermal Imaging is the only way to see the true condition of a home before the purchase. Don't try an pick and choose between these two inspection methods but instead find a home inspector that is certified in both home inspections and thermal imaging.
Many home inspectors offer thermal imaging at no additional charge so using a non-infrared inspector is paying for (0 comments)

layton: Another Way Utah Home Buyers are Benefiting From Utah Infrared Home Inspections - 07/22/11 06:12 PM
Sometimes an ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure! Roof leaks and moisture intrusions are among the top 4-5 concerns I see during Utah Home Inspections. Unfortunately most home owners wait until they see visual signs of moisture before trying to locate the cause. In many circumstances, like the one below, waiting for visual signs of moisture can become quite a mess. More often than not, moisture intrusions introduce themselves in very unpleasant ways such as moisture damage and mold. Each year, moisture and water damage cause more home and building destruction than nearly all other forms (1 comments)
I don't necessarily want to say Mold Testing is a scam(sorta) but far too many people are wasting their money on un-necessary testing. Mold testing does have it's benefits in certain circumstances but it can be avoided far more than it is.
I see so often where home owners tell me that they paid for a mold test which confirmed the visable mold was mold(well duh!), cleaned the mold, then aren't even sure if the problem that caused the mold had been repaired. 90% of home (20 comments)
