Just a quick warning to keep an eye out for your listings posted on craigslist by a crook.
I recieved a call from someone yesterday who almost sent a crook $15,000. The crook and taken the listing photo I took and used it to create a new rental listing. The crook even undercut my rent rate and deposit to lure people in.
The almost victim called me from my sign and I gave him the real scoop. The scammer sent him a rental application, approved it and guess what? Send the money to Nigeria.

I can't see, and neither can the people I am showing your house to. - 10/09/11 08:43 PM
It has always bugged me when I flip on a light switch on while showing a house and nothing happens. It makes a poor impression on the buyers also. They are thinking, what is wrong with this place.
If you have blown light bulbs, replace them. If your lights are on a remote please leave the lights on for us, or set it so that when we flip the switch the light comes on.
Remember the Realtor showing your house for the first time does not know that your lights are on a remote. After we figure out they are, we still do not … (3 comments)

I was out showing a house last Thursday. The paint was highly personalized to put it mildly.
My clients have three young children. The youngest looks like he is around 5 years old.
He was running around looking things over, as he was headed into a room he said, "This is my room". As soon as he got in there and saw the wild paint job the very next word out of his mouth was "never-mind"
