There is a featured post, this morning, by Amanda Lott of West Chester, Pennsylvania, right now, that suggests that offers shouldn't be handwritten anymore.  There are a fair number of comments that fall on either side of the issue, but a number of people who suggest that in this day and age there's just no excuse for a "handwritten offer".
