I was headed to a closing and pulled in at the attorneys office to park. I "caught" something out of my right eye...a turtle. I parked and got out to "check him out" and to my surprise not only did I see a turtle but there was another one under him. I ran back to my car to grab my camera and zoomed in as close as I could without disturbing them. Now, I don't know what act of nature might have been fixing to happen (lol) but when I came out from the closing they were gone...probably to a better "private" area.

Wayne & I attended this mission trip along with 37 others from our church, Mountain View Baptist in Thomaston, GA. It was our first mission trip and it was unbelievable to see, watch and learn from God. To know that there is such a P-A-S-S-I-O-N for God in this world and to be a part of it was truly a blessing.
We were divided in teams throughout the week. Some of the guys were mainly construction and Wayne was on that team. They built a 12 x 12 addition to a home that was maybe a 10 x 10. The other teams went out among the villages and invited them to come to Vacation Bible School and RUSH activities throughout the week. We visited a handicapped orphanage, a home for abused girls and another orphanage. During this week close to 100 people came to know the Lord and it was so AWESOME to see God move!

I have SO many pics that were taken however one of our church members, Brett Driver, put together a video. It SUMS UP the entire week. I hope you enjoy watching and if you are considering doing a mission, I URGE you to go...it will impact you and others for the rest of your life!

July and August are the "hottest" months in Jamaica. We were there from July 24-31, 2010. This shed was located on the same grounds as our hotel, Rooms On The Beach in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
