This morning I woke up to the WONDERFUL sound of rain...which later turned into heavy rain, lightning and thunder.  Call me "different", I happen to LOVE a good ol thunderstorm.  It seems to relax me.  Not to mention the fact that rain has really been S-C-A-R-C-E in our area so I am thankful to see it.
I am also one that does not think that things just happen.  I believe there is a reason and purpose for everything in our lives.  The people we come in contact with, the circumstances we are currently facing, and words whether by someone or … (3 comments)

"One Pair of Hands" by Carroll Roberson - 08/21/09 09:04 AM

A friend sent this song to me earlier in the week and I wanted to pass it on to all of you here on AR. 
She is an assistant to a loan officer and their office is ALWAYS full speed ahead so it meant alot to me that she took a few minutes of her time to share this.  It also served as a reminder of how much GOD loves us and how much we take for granted.

Thursday's Tune - "I Will Rise" by Chris Tomlin - 08/13/09 09:03 AM
I cannot recall a time since I have been doing Thursday's Tune that I have used the same artist back to back.  There's always a first time!  This week (honestly...last few weeks) I have had to "claim" the following scripture over and over:
Isaiah 40:31

When the alarm clock went off this morning at 4:45 a.m.......I certainly was not in the mood to hear it!  Last night, I experienced my first "night sweats" then I woke up (again) to the pain of a charlie horse in my calve!  Thank goodness, my husband greets me every morning with cups of coffee in bed.  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
