As existing home sales rose 4.62% in April, we are seeing the strongest home price gain in 6 years.  The median home price of existing homes has climbed to $177,400, which is a $6000 increase from April 2011.  That also makes it the strongest year-to-year gain since 2006.  And, April’s homes for sale rose to 2.54 million, which have not been as high since November 2011.
