He's Got a Big Mac and a Smile Now! - 08/22/08 12:50 AM
Yesterday on the way to bible study, we stopped at Micky D's for a quick meal, since we were running late (again). On our way out, we all saw this poor homeless man digging through trash trying to find a bite to eat. I was too astonished to react right away, but my husband comments and says, "Someone should stop and give that guy a burger." He is saying this while he is driving away. I look at him and say " You better stop this dam car or you're gonna have a lot to pray about when we get to (30 comments)
Complaining of Rain but Glad there's no Hurricane! - 08/22/08 12:08 AM
Yes, I am in the so-called sunshine state. Located near Disney. I need to rant a little and complain to Active Rain, because my family is tired of listening to me, and I haven't vented enough. The rain is horrible.(Not to mention the wind mixed in with it) My pool is overflowing. Some of my neglectful neighbors' trash is flying all over my front yard. My outdoor plants are drowning. My son caught a horrible cold. And then passed it along to me. Now that he's feeling better he wants to go swimming and is very upset with (9 comments)
If you cannot afford the fees or payment for a loan modification or loss mitigation program at this time, but still want to keep your home, there is an alternative for you. I am not talking short sale here, but of course that is an option. Some people feel their circumstances will change in the near future, but not before their home is foreclosed. You may want to consider renting your property out on a month to month basis. You could ask for the loan mod or loss mitigation fee to be paid by your new renter which would (6 comments)
I don't know how many of you saw the opening ceremony for the Olympics last night, but it took my breath away. Absolutely astounding, creative, Beautiful, I can't find enough words to describe it. It brought tears to my eyes to see all of these countries around the world gather together in harmony. It's too bad, evil had to make it's way through and make it's own statement as well; here is some news I found on this:"A knife-wielding Chinese man attacked two relatives of a coach for the US Olympic men's volleyball team at a tourist site (1 comments)

Loan Officer Dances For Business!!! Hilarious Video! - 08/06/08 09:14 PM
Ok I am blown away by this video. I thought this was especially funny partly because I used to be a loan officer and we do go to extremes to get business. But I have to say this technique is very very unique. Sad to say, I didn't see him obtain any business this way. But he sure got a work out and he's definitely entertaining and at least he's got some good moves. Who knows, maybe someone wrote his number down and called him that evening. My heart goes out to him, and I felt his pain. Being creative is (13 comments)

He actually sold this property! WOW! This is a perfect example of trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents. When I saw this video, I thought it was a hoax. Come to find out this is a real strategy used to sell and I think it's great. Everyone needs a little humor, and it makes the process a lot more fun! (10 comments)
DEED SCAM -DISTRESSED HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!!! - 08/05/08 03:01 PM
Here is an example on how to help educate distressed homeowners. It's sick but is really happening. These poor people are facing a crisis and seek help from a company whom they trusted. This is why it makes it so hard for us "Legits" to step in and help. But, because of this, I think it's a great way to build a repore with our clients. Be honest, diligent, and treat them with integrity. This scam is an extreme incident, but it just goes to show you how desperate people are when seeking help and how eager they are to trust (3 comments)

Your Sub- Conscious is talking to you! - 08/05/08 09:38 AM
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. 4. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. 7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it. 9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. 10. When it comes (8 comments)
This is the biggest dilemma a homeowner is faced with when looking for help to avoid foreclosure. Who to choose, where to start and who is legit? It's not a secret that nearly 75% of Loan modification companies are fraudulent or scam artists. Loan modifications are in high demand right now. This makes it easy for scammers to pray on innocent people who usually will end up victims. Many lose their homes and the fee they invested for mitigation services. What's worse is, many homeowners entrust their last dime to an outside source who (47 comments)
Made Easy By Google Sites - 08/01/08 01:59 PM
I finally completed my personalized website. I used google sites to design it (it's free) and signed up with Go Daddy for the domain. I decided to make it a little different and gear it towards easy reading and funny pictures to brighten up someones day. Because, people who are facing foreclosure are already distressed and anxious. I also got this tip from a web designer (whom I can not afford at this time LOL). She said " Don't make it all about business. Let your clients know you are a real person with feelings and be able too express yourself (0 comments)
