Hawaii Mortgage Interest Rates 8/09 - 08/09/07 05:32 PM

Mortgage interest rates FALL again for the third straight week, except for jumbo loans which increased.  Investors felt that conforming borrowers will make their mortgage payments so conventional loan products interest rates fell.  But they are less sure about Jumbo, Adjustable, and Stated Income mortgages.

Mortgage interest rates fell slightly again this week, except for jumbo loans.  Investors bought into U.S. Treasury notes, causing yields to fall slightly, with mortgage rates following suit.   However with delinquencies and foreclosures rising, investors still don't give as much attention to mortgages so the rate dip was minimal … (0 comments)
