Trump Tower Waikiki - Update on Sales Activity
In respone to a blog posted a few days ago on Trump Tower Waikiki sales activity, I received a phone call from Frank Kim, who is involved with Trump Tower sales here in Honolulu, who had read the blog post and offered some corrections and updated information.  Here's what he emailed me:
"There are 27 units, 101% of asking due to resolds and $1,620 per square foot."
That's amazing.  Resales are brisk and values are not only holding but appreciating at Trump Tower Waikiki.

Lowered Prices Restart Honolulu Holomua Condo Project
According to the Honolulu newspaper, "Star Advertiser", the Holomua condo project located at 1315 Kalakaua Avenue in Honolulu, after a substantial reduction of prices and a mix of "affordable" and "markt rate" pricing structure, the project now has new life.
"Construction could begin in July, once 114 units are sold," the online edition of the newspaper, www.staradvertiser.com states.

The local magazine, "Honolulu" magazine, found online at www.HonoluluMagazine.com, has recently added a great online column, called "Honolulu Real Estate".
Recently an article was published there, "The Scoop: Honolulu's Luxury Condo Market".  In the article was a list of condominium buildings tht had the most sales over $1 million.  Here's that list:

According to CNN Money Report, and as reported in the "Seattle Post Intelligencer" newspaper and blogs, "Luxury Real Estate Sales Up in All 20 U.S. Metros", "with some cities seeing an 18.6 percent increase in high-end home sales, according to DataQuick Information Systems.
