It Was A Special Birthday, So Let's Go Lego! Our Grandson is having a birthday today and he is a huge LEGO fan. So what to do? Make him a LEGO birthday cake that is something special. With that request our daughter and her friend took up the challenge!
It sure made someone's eyes wide and mouth drop open and that is exactly what we were hoping for!

We've Come A Long Way BabyToday marks the anniversary of the first mail delivery by the Pony Express. It may have taken us 151 years but we sure have come a long way.Not many people and we know for sure not anyone born after the new millennium, can even remember or imagine life before technology.  If you think your internet is slow, can you even think of how it must have been back in the 1860's, waiting for the cloud of dust to appear which meant the pony with the mail was arriving, without even the help of a GPS?
