dogs: Sometimes The Strangest Things Happen In A Day Of Real Estate - 05/23/13 05:28 AM
Sometimes The Strangest Things Happen In A Day Of Real Estate!
Two weeks ago we sold a condominium to a lady who was downsizing from a large five level backsplit home. There was a hitch but we got the bonus!
This very nice lady was looking for a lifestyle change and the only issue for her was, the condominium she loved the most is not a 'pet friendly' building and she has a mini Schnauzer, named Brady.
Staying with her thoughts of a new lifestyle of freedom and travel, this lady started looking for a new home for Brady. She wanted … (34 comments)

dogs: Let Loose Doggies, In Brampton Ontario Canada - 04/05/12 06:55 PM
Let Loose Doggies, In Brampton Ontario Canada The City of Brampton is a great place to live if you are a dog.  You and your buddy/owner can choose from three different 'off-leash areas' to roam and run around in!  There is the Bramalea Community Park at Hwy 410 and Williams Parkway, the Chris Gibson Park at McLaughlin Rd. N. and Flowertown Ave. behind the Chris Gibson Recreation Centre and the third location is White Spruce Park, just south of the Esker Lake School between Bovaird Dr. & Sandalwood Pkwy., west of Heart Lake Rd.   These are ideal spots to run … (14 comments)

dogs: Ya Gotta Love Animal Instincts! - 04/04/12 05:07 AM
Ya Gotta Love Animal Instincts! There is something special about animals and their instincts. Something very special. There is also something special about a child and a dog. What can be amazing though, is how the protective instinct of a dog rises to the occasion even when that dog has just been introduced to a young child.  Last summer at our cottage, the neighbour had friends over and they brought their Border Collie, Jenna, with them. Our grandson was out playing and immediately became attracted to Jenna or maybe we should say Jenna immediately became attached to our grandson. Jenna became … (14 comments)

dogs: Would you put your dog in the freezer? - 12/06/10 09:55 AM
This is a great word of advice from Craig Snead. Its short it won't take you long to read. Now that winter is upon us, this is advice we should all heed. As we said in our comment to Craig, we have seen people take their furry family members with them in the car, leaving them there, while they are nice and warm chowing down in some restaurant. They totally forget their poor old, man's best friend is sitting in the car as it gets colder, and colder and colder....Please take care of your four legged family members, they depend on you!

dogs: Would You Buy One Of These Expensive Dogs? In The Market... MUST READ! - 06/13/09 09:48 AM
A couple of years ago we never even heard of the Portuguese Water Dog until we met our new neighbours next to our cottage who had just moved in.  No little kids could be seen but suddenly a bouncing ball of wool came bounding over to meet us.  This was our first time seeing a Portuguese Water Dog (Isabella, Bella for short).
If you want to know all the technical stuff about the breed you can check with wikipedia or read on.  Bella is one of the smartest dogs we know.  We could be just arriving at the cottage, haven't even emptied our … (12 comments)
