Snow is falling in Breckenridge Colorado
At least an inch of new snow fell overnight in all of Summit County. Ski and snowboard enthusiasts should be thrilled for opening day. It seems like this will be one of the best starts for the Colorado ski season we have seen in years. Many ski shops in town are stocking the shelves in anticipation for the flood of tourists headed are way! I always love seeing the transition from late fall to the start of the ski season.

Summit County Co Market Update
Summit County residential real estate sales are up and prices are either flat or down.
The North side of the county has sales that are up 4% and prices that are down 9%. The South side of the county has sales that are up 36% and prices that are down 6%. When both sides of the county are combined the county as a whole results in a 16% increase in the number of listings sold and a 5% decrease in the average sold price.

Eventually after expiermenting with an ice-skating rink in the backyard the artist began towing with the idea of an ice castle maze that experiment grew into walking through pieces of art, ice castles with thick walls, unique frozen water formations and lights embedded with the ice give the structure at nighttime appeal.

Keystone Colorado opens today for ski season. Today's activities will be known as Dercum day in honor of the resorts cofounders Max and Edna Dercum. A special dedication is planned for nine o'clock this morning just prior to the lifts opening there will be live music at the base area starting at 8 AM.
