Well, if you listen to the media, you might feel like you're stuck on the set of Chicken Little. Luckily, I received a link to an article today in the SC REALTOR News that backs up the numbers that result when searching our local MLS system database for market activity. The article appeared in The Post and Courier newspaper out of Charleston, SC. Luckily, our region saw a boost in sales by more than 50% in September! It was tough to watch the rest of the nation experience such a huge boom in recent years, but now the conservative appreciation that our area saw is proving to be a blessing. There's not a huge correction, plethora of upside down sellers, or abundance of foreclosures here. As always, I'm proud to be a York County resident!
