Camp Trinity is a residential summer camp in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina.  It is sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina at Trinity Center.  I drive by the entrance to Trinity Center twice a day on my way to the office,  My parents home is located about one block from the entrance,  and until this weekend, I had no idea what a wonderful place it is.

Not all Fences were made for sitting....Take the fence below for instance.  This is called a Sand Beach Fence.  It is meant to help prevent dune erosion and to assist in coastline & vegetation preservation.  It was not made for sitting.

Interest rates are still incredibly low and there are still many wonderful properties to choose from on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.  If you are sitting on the fence, and are ready to leap off and buy your dream home, give me a call.

If you live on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina, You may have sweetgum trees in your yard.  They seem to be in abundance here.  We have the priviledge of FOUR!  The spikey "gumballs" are not the most desirable thing to step on, and raking them is a real pain in the @#$%@.  I hear folks complaining about their Sweetgum trees ALL THE TIME!

Yesterday, as I was getting my shopping list ready to head off the the grocery store, My boys decided that they wanted to join me!  What?  Grocery Shopping is "MY TIME".  I can wander the aisles, taking my time, comparing prices, and eventually end up with everything on my list.  Enough food to get through the week.

Yesterday was a beautiful day on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.  Sunny with bright blue skies, and a toasty 58º degrees.   It was absolutely gorgeous.  So, when Marian, aka Mom, asked me to take photos of her new listing and then help her put up a sign at another new listing...I jumped at the chance.  Problem was...I got caught up in the photo opportunities and the sunshine, that Marian was left waiting for me in the office parking lot to put up a sign. At 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 30th, 2011, Local Author, Jay Barnes will be doing a presentation on "Hurricanes" at the Bogue Banks Library in Pine Knoll Shores.  Jay Barnes is also well know around the Crystal Coast for the many years he worked as the General Manager of the NC Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores.  He played a HUGE role in the renovation of the Aquarium which re-opened in 2005 and we are all very thankful...The New & Improved Aquarium is awesome!

I spend a lot of time online and I am not ashamed to admit that I am an internet Junkie!  Out of all the free, online photo editing sites I have found and experimented with, Picnik is my favorite.  You may have one that works well for you.  If you do not, I highly recommend that you visit www.picnik.com and try it out.  The free version is fabulous, but for $24.95 per year, you can upgrade and get even more.

On February 4th, 2011, Country Music Stars, The Bellamy Brothers, will be performing at the Morehead City Center of Performing Arts!  They are most known for hits like, "Let Your Love Shine", "If I said you had a Beautiful Body" and  "Redneck Girl", and let me tell you...These guys have still got it!  I had the pleasure of seeing the Bellamy Brothers perform at a Country Jam in Naples, Florida a few years ago, and the crowd went wild!

My family and I spend a lot of time on the Morehead City Waterfront.  We enjoy just walking up and down the boardwalk, admiring the views and the boats.  We also love stopping in one of the many local shops downtown and we especially enjoy having lunch at Carlone's.  In our opinion, they have the best pizza in town, and I always enjoy a large, fresh salad while visiting Carlone's.

Twelve years ago, as my husband and I sat on the patio of our apartment in Florida... this big, handsome cat walked up, jumped in my husband's lap, and claimed us. He was sweet and goofy, and we fell absolutely in love with him.  We named him Bodean and it suited him well!  A strong name, for a strong cat.  Over the years, our family grew to five cats, one dog, and then in 2005, a human child.
