National Flood Insurance Program ~ A Call to Action - 06/29/11 01:48 PM
While I sit here are all safe and dry in the middle of the Arizona desert, my heart breaks for those around the country in the middle of the devestation caused by flooding.

Do listing photos really matter? - 06/27/11 12:44 AM
Legally, I can't copy and paste samples of the thousands of poor quality listing photos that I see every single day on the MLS.  Bad listing photos are one of my pet peeves and I always wonder if the seller has ever seen what their home looks like online.
So this is for you, Sellers of the world (and especially Chandler, Sun Lakes and the surrounding East Valley!). Please, ask any agent you are interviewing to show you samples of his/her listings.  How do they look to you?  Is the photography clear and well lit?  Or, do their listing photos look … (19 comments)

Residents of the villas are members of both IronOaks Homeowners Association and their own villa association.  Villas associations have their own governing Boards and their own CC&Rs, Articles of Incorporation, By Laws, and Rules & Regulations in addition to being governed by those of IronOaks

Sun Lakes AZ Golf Reciprocal Agreement Approved - 06/07/11 01:15 AM
Great news! The Reciprocal Golf Agreement has been passed by all the HOA boards in the Sun Lakes communities.  What does this mean?
Annual members (punch card members are not eligible) have reciprocal privileges from June 1-September 15, 2011 to play the other courses in Sun Lakes.  IronOak members can start picking up their embossed card on June 1 at the Oakwood Pro Shop.  Instruction sheets will be given to the member at that time as to making a tee time at the other courses.  You must bring your IronOaks homeowner’s card to the Pro Shop.  The staff will apply a sticker to … (0 comments)

The Heart Attack Grill...D.O.A. - 06/02/11 12:49 PM
The Heart Attack Grill in Tempe, Arizona appears to be DOA. Back in 2008, I posted a blog entitled "The Heart Attack Grill..it ain't your mama's restaurant" proclaiming this restaurant would never make my "have to eat there" list.
I had a real problem with a restaurant that promotes unhealthy eating as being a good thing. Patrons weighing over 350lbs ate for free and just a single meal in the restaurant could actually cause a heart attack in my opinion, which was confirmed by their motto "A taste worth dying for"
