Due diligence.... according to Merriam-Webster.com, due diligence means:
1. the care that a reasonable person exercises to avoid harm to other persons or their property

The information that was passed on to the potential buyer was inaccurate at best. Inaccurate and totally irresponsible. Things like... the heating system looks original to the home... which would have placed it around 50 years old. HUH? Try more like 15 years old. How did that mistake happen? The papers documenting the age of the system were neatly placed in an envelope hanging next to the system, the papers had even been pulled out and stuffed back in. We also saw a very poor list to sales price last month, homes sold for 88% of list price. This means there are still homes that are overpriced on the market.
