Cooperatives For Sale in New Jersey? I Thought That Was a New York Thing. Introducing Riverview Towers, Red Bank - 11/18/10 11:49 PM
Yes, we do have a few cooperative (aka "co-op's") in Monmouth County, none more famous than Riverview Towers of Red Bank. Property ownership in New Jersey is typically fee simple, meaning purchasers "own" their dirt. Contrast to cooperative living in which buyers receive a proprietary lease and share ownership of the dwelling. Folks interested in buying a Riverview Tower apartment require Board Approval and a credit check. Erected in 1969, the Riverview Tower high-rise sits majestic on the edge of the Navesink River. By crossing over Route 35 and traveling east toward the Atlantic Ocean (you'll find River Plaza, Middletown to the west), the home buyer is treated to a panorama of different architecture and styles. This year eighteen (18) single family homes in Navesink have sold for an Average (2 comments)
A Job! A Job! My Kingdom for a Job! - 11/03/10 11:08 PM
You folks got issues. Not your barnyard variety of anger either. Worried about mortgages and short sales and credit scores. But, hay, it's us led around by the mane. So let me glue you in. It's about jobs, Tonto. Whether pulling an Amish wagon filled with Brooklyn tourists or shouldering an eleven stone six year old on your haunches for a pony ride, employee productivity is going to drag us out of the Fannie Mae Derby. Two plus two equals five. It has to. Do I have to stomp it out on the ground for you? Rise early, fall late. Giving (8 comments)
