The U.S. needs more home buyer tax credits, according to a survey of readers of TheStreet.com, a financial Web site.More than 62 percent of respondents voted for another home buyer tax credit, while 37.7 percent said no.

Most Owners Satisfied With Their Homes - So Why Move?
A 2009 survey of home owners conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development shows that most of them are satisfied with their residences. About 70 percent of respondents rated their homes an 8, 9, or 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 28 percent giving them the "best" rating of 10. Inman News reported today that "The number of homes entering the foreclosure process fell sharply in July compared to a year ago, but homes continued to gush out the other end of the foreclosure pipeline and were repossessed by lenders at near record levels, according the latest numbers from data aggregator RealtyTrac."

Real Estate Licenses Being Revoked At A Record Pace
The Associated Press reported that "The California Department of Real Estate said Wednesday it revoked a record number of real estate licenses in its most recently completed fiscal year."
Six hundred thirty three (633) licenses were revoked for cause in the last 12 months which is up from 574 in the year before.
Ninety (90) licenses surrendered by real estate professionals facing disciplinary action and 163 more from those that had their license suspended.
