There's a question of what will happen going forward with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, etc. since it seems that the costs for these these loans may continue to rise.  We've seen some of this over the past few years where the  MIP (Mortgage insurance Protection) have had continued increases on FHA type loans. Also, there have been other changes making it a little more difficult for a buyer to obtain a loan. The question is what is the real long range plan? Will the Government continue to increase costs and pull back from supporting and funding these programs?  We'll see, … (3 comments)

"REAL ESTATE BUYERS" - 04/12/11 10:34 AM
It's amazing that more Buyers do not recognize the current opportunities to purchase a home at historically low prices and mortgage rates.  There may never be a better time to do this any time soon. If Buyers ar waiting for house prices to drop further this will probably be more than offset because of increases in mortgage rates.  Buyers need to understand better what they are dealing with, and maybe then could take advantage of the current opportunities to purchase their home in an especially favorable environment.  Rich Salla, GRI, ABR
