MAR presented a leadership panel that consisted of MAR President Jeff Young, Dan Coffey, and Bob Taylor.
These are a few point I enjoyed.
AE never tells bad news.  It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors. 
If you are knew, determine what's going on already and how can I fit in. 
Be visible to your membership and peers.  Be supportive to your membership and peers. 
If you want to know what people think, ask them, then shut up and LISTEN. 
The job of a good leader will find his or her replacement.  They will recruit leaders also.

Wow, what an honor it was to listen to Dick Gaylor, the National Association of REALTORS President.
Per NAR President Dick Gaylord, "Take people from where they are, to where they haven't been."
Listen 95% Talk 5%Listen to those that don't speak up.Encourage new and young.As a Board of Director member for the Flint Area Association of Realtors, his words are "Priceless"
