This Houston County Georgia Real Estate Market Report is a snapshot over the last 12 months, showing expected summer increases in homes sold and a drop off as winter arrives. While Jan 2012 had less sales than any other month during the 12-month horizon, it does track consistently with Jan 2011 which also had 54 homes sold.
Sellers, what can you expect? How about an average sales prices at 97.44% of the list price, 3.5 months for typical homes to sell, and over 14 months worth of inventory for buyers to choose from.
The 12-month average sales price is $166,242 with the Jan 2012 average coming in slightly higher at $178,021.
As has been the case for the past year, the Houston County GA real estate market continues to be a buyers market.

Tops in Blue Coming Back to Warner Robins and Robins Air Force Base
Celebrating 55 years of entertainment, Tops in Blue the Air Force's all-amateur entertainers will be performing their "Rhythm Nation" tour at the Warner Robins Civic Center on Feb 14th 2012 at 7pm.
Cost is free, first come, first served. Doors open at 6:30pm.
The team is comprised of active-duty AF, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve (AFR) personnel stationed all over the world. Once their 1-year tour is finished, all entertainers go back to their AF, ANG, or AFR job.
Fun facts: They have performed at the Super Bowl, on the Ed Sullivan Show (Jerry Van Dyke was the military MC), several Bob Hope Specials, in all 50 states, numerous countries around the world, and have even made a couple of movies.
They put on a great show so get there early to ensure you get a seat!
