New Refinancing Guidelines Unveiled for Distressed Property Owners.
A new refinancing program was unveiled by the current administration last month with the expectation that it will help the current housing crisis. It should help distressed homeowners who want to stay in their homes by easing up on the refinancing requirements.
Homeowners who are "under water", owning more on the home then it's current value, can now refinance under the new program (HARP).
This overhaul will benefit homeowners who:

Willow Glen has a larger inventory, list price for homes in Willow Glen is higher and homes are on the market longer compared to Campbell. Campbell has no homes in inventory over 1 million dollars, but Willow Glen has quite a few, which distorts the median list price and sale price of homes in this community. Average home size of homes in Willow Glen is larger than those in Campbell which reflects in the price per square foot.

Misleading advertising hurts homeowners and the local real estate market.
Misleading advertising hurts local communities. You have seen it too - don't deny it. Out of area agents killing your farm areas and neighborhood home values. Just the other day I blogged about a short sale property my clients put an offer on sight unseen because the tenants weren't cooperating.

Becoming a US Citizen - 11/06/11 10:52 PM
It's official: I am now a US Citizen.
I finally became a US Citizen last week. I was thrilled and the ceremony was nice. The process of becoming a naturalized citizen is easy and quick: the whole process took about 2 months.
First I downloaded the US Citizenship test from iTunes and the application forms from the USCIS website. I studied the questions on my iPhone during my daily walks with the dog around the neighborhood. After my appointments for fingerprinting, pictures and interview the date for the official swearing in ceremony was scheduled.
