The Litchfield Park, Arizona Real Estate Market is holding it's own. As you can see the number of listings is up just slightly from September. That could be a reflection of our winter season - of which we have many out of town buyers visiting from cold country and looking to purchase a winter home. Another Gorgeous Holiday in Phoenix Arizona!
Thanksgiving 2011 was as lovely as it could possible be! We invited some of our closest friends and a few new friends/clients to a lovely sit-down Thanksgiving Feast in our 'French Chateau Alcove". Every year at this time we create an enchanting picturesque entertaining space that we use for dinners and champagne tastings. At thanksgiving the alcove patio is decorated 'just a bit' but.....tomorrow we'll pull out all the stops and get it ready for Christmas parties. It's beyond magical!

Chandler Arizona Home Sales are down slightly from last month. Listings are also down slightly from last month. We expect the market to be a little slower over the holiday months but not significantly over the previous year.
We all know the media likes to 'take a bite' on any negative piece of news to make it appear as if the real estate market is doom and gloom. It is not! We expect sales to continue on a upward trend this next year due to low home prices and low interest rates.

Hiking the North Phoenix Mountain Preserve in Search of Turkeys
Today was another gorgeous day in Phoenix Arizona, the high was about 70 and it was partly cloudy. Yeah! As usual, the first thing I enjoy doing almost very day is getting up, having a cup of strong coffee, and then heading out for an hour or so hike in the North Phoenix Mountain Preserve which is in my backyard. We've all had 'those' kind of days! Today was 'interesting'. Looking back it feels like this one tiny itty bitty day was longer than a one hand paper hanger trying to reach the 2nd floor without a ladder. Well ok that really doesn't make much sense but heck....not much else made sense today either!

I am Thankful for my baby sister Lurana - and need your prayers please!
My baby sister Lurana and I have been best of friends all our lives. I'm nine years older than her and there are 3 brothers between her and I. I was so happy that my parents brought home a baby girl!! For years I dragged her around with me everywhere....and still do whenever possible. She so darn fun! We laugh uncontrollably at times and it's infectious to whoever is around us!. Getting the picture? Double trouble here.....

This has been a week of wins for short sellers! Got the news yesterday that another short sale has been agreed upon and we're moving towards closing. That's two more on tap and cleared for landing. Thank you very much! We seen to be on a winning street lately with successful short sales. Yeah!

That's Nonsense! There is almost always a solution if you look for it and work together!
Some days are just plain interesting to see how people handle challenging situations. Some folks go all nutso - jump up and down and scream, others take the ball and run away, some throw up their hands and say there just isn't a solution. some have a need to be right and some folks step back, assess the situation and look for a solution.

Anthem listing up are slightly this month which is a good thing as there are many buyers and multiple bids are being seen on many properties - if a property is priced correctly and in good condition and location. Last night Phoenix got drenched by a fluke rain storm.
Rain is wonderful!
Naturally we all had to stand outside underneath the front porch and watch the rain come down in sheets under the street lights. 1 The weather is absolutely perfect. 80 degrees with a slight breeze.
2. The sun is shining and there are some clouds building up which means rain is on the way.
3. My hike in the preserve was so pleasant. Enjoyed gorgeous Hawaiian music!
4. Stopped to talk with several neighbors - such friendly people.
5. Enjoyed lunch on a cafe patio with a client and had fun catching up.
