A Touch of Tulips to Brighten Your Spirits I'm sending my thoughts to all of you in snow and cold country. I heard you're having yet another storm. Hang in there. Bundle up and think warm thoughts. And if you can, schedule a trip to my area Phoenix and we'll have a meetup or find any place nice and warm and out of the snow and cold! We've been so blessed this year to have a very cool (to us) winter and are just this week popping up into the 70's and it's sunny. Yes! Enjoy your week!

Sweet little Barney found the perfect place to snuggle this 'cold' Phoenix morning! It was only 40 degrees this morning and for us that's cold. I was kind of surprised to find him all snuggled up on the sofa because he usually doesn't do that. I got myself a cup of coffee and snuggled in with him and gave him his morning belly rub! I know, he's not spoiled at all! He sat with me while I watched a little news and enjoyed my coffee. I'd say this was another one of those perfect Christmas memories! Life is good for both of

winter in phoenix: Thankful for Nature and Hiking Phoenix Mountains!

Every day I look out over the North Phoenix Mountain Preserve and feel very thankful to live here! Most of you know I love to hike our hills and valleys and I must have a gazillion photos from my 20+ years of hiking them - often. This morning it was a bit chilly at 48 degrees. Ok I get it - that's a wimps version of chilly! I did grow up in Saint Cloud MN - ya know!! Needless to say I lingered in the house enjoying hot coffee before I 'braved' the cold. I didn't really feel like getting my boots
