The Pelham Police Department will be hosting a blood drive Tuesday, July 20th, 2010.  The bloodmobile will located at the at the Police Station right behind City Hall and you can stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to give blood.

 POSSUM ON THE HALF SHELL......RIP!
 
Driving from my home to the bank the other day I came across this poor little guy that was apparently the victim of a hit and run accident.  It's summertime in Alabama and more and more often these little armored guys that have migrated to our state are the "road kill" that we so often see.  I prefer to think this fellow is sleeping.....he looks peaceful to me.  Mike (my husband) came up with the title of the post.  I thought it was sorta rude but ......

Businesses and their employees in the Chase Corporate Center offices in Hoover AL were recently treated to a delicious lunch courtesy of the building management, Sandner Commercial Real Estate! 
 
 
 
 
 

The annual thank you lunch was catered by Dreamland BBQ and included their famous ribs, chicken and sides.  Mark Giorgi, new owner of Chase Lake Cafe was there too providing some yummies of his own!
