A new post by John Schemm reminded me that we create our own reality. I'm particularly guilty of negative thinking. In my private lending business, it's part of what I do - look at the worst case scenarios and try to arrange circumstances such that we are protected from that worst case scenario. So it's an occupational hazard. So let's pick the subject apart for a minute. If you think you can't, you probably don't try. If you don't try, it ain't happenin. End of story. But if you think you can, you start the steps to make it happen. You assume success. … (8 comments)
