Last spring when I was new to real estate, I was in a company sponsored training class. We were throwing out ideas to get some business going when one of my classmates said this."when I mail a letter I staple my business card to the back. That way anyone who comes into contact with the letter will see it."
Someone else said she had gotten her busines cards made into refrigerator magnets and wrote on the letter "refrigerate after opening."So people had to open it!
Both clever, and fairly cheap ideas that might get you a transaction or two.I haven't tried them yet. … (2 comments)

Last week we had a representative from a company called United First Financial come into our office inviting us to a lunch and learn seminar about her company. She bragged about the leaders of her company who had left as CEo or COO of other companys to start this company. When I asked her "what is your product. What do you sell"  I had a hard time getting an answer. She kept beating oround the bush. I finally got her to say her company sells a software program that helps homeowners calculate how to pay of a mortgage early. I got on the web … (11 comments)
